We don't do "courtesy links"

We do not add links from our site in return for a reciprocal link.

The reasons for his are simple.

We don't want to include links on our site to other sites which would be of little interest to visitors to this site. If the want to use our links page as a resource, they don't want to trawl through a load of irrelevant nonesense.

We don't want to appear to be a 'link farm'. Link farms are sites set up expressly for the purpose of supplying links to sites to try and boost their rankings. This are regarded as 'spamming' by many search engines.

What appears on our web site is our own choice. We will not enter into any agreement, formal or informal, that dictates the content of our site. (We have already had one PCB fabricator insist that their site should be the only fabricator site listed on our site, in return for a reciprocal link. That companies link no longer appears on this site.)

 

If you do think that we would be interested in linking to your site, then contact us by e-mail so we can check it out ourselves, and make our own mind up. We would appreciate a link back, but we do not insist on it, if your site is good enough then we'll link to it in any case. We will try to honour any request you make about he apearance of the link anchor, but we reserve the right to display the link in whatever fashion we see fit. Please note, we will not post advertising copy.
